I do a lot of work with WordPress, a content management system (CMS) that makes it very easy for site owners to manage their own content. WordPress sites can contain blogging functionality, but the platform works fine for conventional sites as well.
I believe that having a web site should not be a cumbersome or unsatisfying experience for the site owner, and that web sites should remain dynamic and ever evolving. There is no reason for a site to become obsolete in terms of content, design, or functionality.
